Jean rolls his eyes a little at that, knocking his chin against Connie's head gently.

"I'm not that much wider than you, you dork." A tiny lie - Jean has filled out more since coming to Somnius, mainly due to less stress. He also knows it's probably not a lie; the comfort of other clothes would probably help Connie.

"The shower's open, though, so why don't you get cleaned up and I'll get some clothes for you."

Erwin and I are planning to throw a birthday party for Natsume on July 1st. I was thinking it'd be fun to put on an ODM exhibition during it. You know, something to show off what we can do, and what he'll eventually be able to do.

It'd be me, you, Erwin, and Connie if I can coax him into it.

[ french onion soup is one of the recipes they've picked up but he doesn't know where the name came from so he's just trying to imagine what toast and that soup could have in common. maybe "french" just means "with a layer of melted cheese on top". ]

Yeah. We'd talked a bit about maybe doing something like this back home, even, so I'd really hate to screw it up.
Was your thing just you at first or did you have other people working on it with you?

I'd be down to do a little exhibition with you three. In fact, I'm working on setting up an obstacle course at the farm with ODM in mind, if you want to utilize that. Should be done before Natsume's birthday.

Oh, no. It's a way to re-use stale bread or just fresh stuff; you dip it in custard and either bake it or fry it in a pan, then throw fruit or syrup on it.

It was actually my husband Eren's idea originally. I did the cooking and he delivered it. It was just the two of us, but then it got bigger and we had to hire more people to cook, clean, deliver, do the paperwork... When he gave up doing it, I moved the kitchen to Stellari.
