[ She does look flustered; her color is high on her cheeks and he thinks it's a good look on her. One he'd like to see more of - but he reminds himself not right now. Especially with the way she kisses his forehead before she tucks herself up against him.

He takes another deep breath just to calm his heart, which feels like it wants to beat right out of his body. He's sure she can feel it but he's more than happy to have her pressed under his chin. He lets his hand fall from her jaw to curl around her shoulders, and shifts his head a little so he's comfortable lying on his side.

There's a big, dopey smile on his face now that he can't quite banish - but he doesn't need to get rid of it, does he? He's happy. ]
